Specifies that the output display verbose information. Valid when the /fo parameter is set to table or csv. Specifies the format to use for the query output. You should see yours listed, along with the MAC address for other installed network interfaces. This command is particularly useful either when you want to enter the MAC address into a network analyzer, or when you need to know what protocols are currently in use on each network adapter on a computer. Use the -r option to get a random MAC address and specify the name of your network interface. ip a In the screenshot below, we have highlighted our MAC address for the enp0s3 interface.
